Bread & Jam events are a golden opportunity for entrepreneurs to pitch their products directly to key players in the industry. Our events are all about connecting challenger brands with buyers from top retailers, distributors and foodservice providers. It’s a chance to show off your innovative brand, get honest feedback, and maybe even land a deal that could take your business to the next level. There are pitching opportunities at all of our one-day Summits and at our annual festival.

As long as you have a ticket for the event, you can apply to as many retailers as you like! If you get selected to pitch, no worries - we’ll make sure your slots do not overlap.

If your application has been successful, you'll receive an email with a dedicated time slot for a one to one meeting with the buyer you applied to in the run up to the event. You can be selected by more than one retailer and receive multiple time slots.

On the day you’ll have a ten minute one to one meeting with the buyer(s).
Make your way to the pitching area at least 10 minutes before your time slot to register with the pitching usher.
You are welcome to bring samples and a presentation if you wish but please be aware that there are no storage or prep facilities available at the venue.

Anyone joining to pitching to retailers MUST have their own ticket. If you wanted to bring a team member along to the pitch, each of you would need your own individual ticket.

Lucie Cousin - Bath Culture House
We got listed at Selfridges thanks to Bread & Jam Festival! We were selected to pitch to Selfridges and had a 1:1 meeting with the buyer. After this, they asked us to meet with the buyer again. We then went through a period of working alongside the Selfridges technical team to prove that our products were safe for Selfridges to sell to their customers and we delivered our first order to Selfridges in April 2023.
